In the heart of Moorish Andalucia, half an hour from both Granada and the Mediterranean is nestled in the wonderful Lecrin Valley the picturesque village of Pinos del Valle, where can now be found a Bed and Breakfast with character.

This rare old house, parts of which date back 250 years, has been carefully restored, preserving most of its original beams and using traditional materials. It is situated on a square for easy access and off loading.

The accommodations consist of 6 bedrooms (5 double and 1 single) all with their own shower/bathroom. The is also a bedroom on the ground floor fully fitted for wheelchair users or anyone who do not like stairs with access to the dining room and Patio. For those chilly winter nights, the house is fully heated. All berooms are equipped with kettles for teas and coffees.

Guests can also enjoy the use of the sitting room, dinning room (both with fireplaces), a “Mexican/Moroccan Patio” with a small pool (the Dip) and a large roof terrace with sensational views of the valley, the village and the surrounding mountains including the Alpurajas. Internet access is provided in all the rooms and there is a DigitalTV in the sitting room to catch up with the news.

From here, many activities can pursued: Sightseing in Granada and other beautiful towns and villages, spectacular sceneres. There are 5 golf courses in the vicinity and this region is a heaven for walkers of all levels. Tennis is available within 15 minutes and the beaches are within half an hour from here. The village is only 5 minutes from the motorway (we can't hear it, though) so all destinations are easy to get to.
